Lake Mead National Park Service

A High Flow Experiment (HFE) will occur April 24-27 from the Glen Canyon Dam in Arizona resulting in large quantities of water being released into Lake Mead in the coming days. This will lead to a temporary closure at Pearce Ferry Launch Ramp. Our crews will be making adjustments to boat ramps and facilities near beaches in preparation for this high-water event.
Separate from the High Flow Experiment, Lake Mead will also have several additional closures for new installations and spring equipment training.
