Other notable catches included: Fausto Barron’s 8.90#, Mikey T’s 8.20#, Eric Tucker’s 7.50#, Scott Shintani’s 7.40#, Mike Bobay’s 7.20# and Ron Ilano’s 6.90# trout.
Catfish can be found throughout the lake and prefer cut mackerel or chicken liver.
Crappie are preparing to spawn and are being caught in modest numbers both from shore and by boat. They respond best to mini-jigs or live golden shiners.
As the water warms the bass should become increasingly active. Bass can be found around structure and prefer dark colored plastics.
