Trout fishing slowed down last week, but there’s still some biting trout

Trout fishing slowed down last week, but there’s still some biting rainbows and lightening trout available. The next plant is scheduled for the week of March 20th. Stop by the shop and well get you set up with all the supplies you need to fill a stringer. Lately minijigs, Mousetails, and Powerbait have been working the best for rainbows and lightening trout. Crappie fell for small swimbaits, small live shiners, and minijigs in various locations around the lakes. Catfish anglers used dip bait, cut anchovies, and nightcrawlers, and bass anglers reported a fair bite on white swimbait, Senkos and chatterbaits.
