Fish Report for 2-17-2023

Lure anglers landed some of the biggest fish

Chad Burton and Chris Borden

The next trout plant is currently scheduled for the week of February 20th. During the trout derby Minijigs, dough bait, Mousetails, and nightcrawlers were the baits of choice. Lure anglers landed some of the biggest fish. Crappie anglers did well trolling flicker shad and Get Bent Baits crankbaits. Crappie also fell for white or green shad sliders and minijigs. Smaller catfish ate fresh shrimp, nightcrawlers, and dip bait. Largemouth remained tight lipped, but we did receive reports from successful anglers using Green Pumpkin Senkos, drop shot, white spinnerbaits, and live minnows.
