I think we finally turned the page!! Water is still high but the clarity is much improved. Today flows in Healdsburg are at 1000 cfs and predicted to be below 800 by Monday. Hacienda is 1700 and predicted to be 1400 by Monday. Stopped by JB after work and within 10 minutes watched a dozen fish roll in the lower pool. Also got reports of fish being caught from Healdsburg to Villa Grande yesterday and a customer showed me a nice fish caught with a pink worm at JB fishing for "bass". Drifitng bait with a spin-n-glow or big corky with bait, backtrolling plugs in slots or plunking should be productive. Swinging big dark intruder flies along the edges could grab some travelers as well. Still some uncertainty for next weekends weather but pretty much clear for the next week so mark off your calendar or call in sick and go catch some steel!! Guided trips available so give us a call.
