Fish Report for 11-18-2022
Catfish and crappie have been the best bet at BV
11-18-2022
Chad Burton and Chris Borden
Catfish and crappie have been the best bet at BV with catfish anglers doing well near the reeds. The best set up for whisker fish has been to use a slip bobber, a bobber stop, and a size 2 bait holder hook. Anglers have been casting near the reeds and adjusting the bobber stop until finding biting fish. Chicken liver, night crawlers, and fresh shrimp have been good bait choices. Crappie fell for minijigs tipped with crappie nibbles. Crappie held over rocky structure and near the reeds. Bass anglers reported fair fishing and there were few reports. However, Senkos, drop shot, and crankbaits are always a good bet at BV. The trout opener will be December 16th and they plan to stock the lake a few days before.
