Soft water fishing is over for the season at Wildhorse Reservoir as it was almost completely covered in ice today. There was a bit of open water by the dam and a small bit at the Hendricks Arm but with the cold temps it will freeze completely very soon. South Fork on the other hand is almost completely ice free with a bit of ice at the south end and some in the backs of the coves. Fishing yesterday at South Fork was good while it was slower today. Get out while you can!
