Manzanita Lake Report
10-7-2022
The Fly Shop
With less pressure from kayaks you can have a pretty good day on Manzanita. The weather will be pretty nice over the next week or so. Some anglers have reported a Baetis hatch going, you can expect to see fish eating midges as well the time of year. If you see fish cruising in shallow water you can sight cast a Damselfly nymph. There won't be too many more weekends to enjoy this beautiful mountain lake this season!
Pay attention to the special regulations here, especially where you can and can't fish. Barbless hooks, artificial lures, catch and release. Make sure you inquire at the park entrance.
