Fish Report for 10-13-2022
The season is winding down on the Fall
10-13-2022
The Fly Shop
The season is winding down on the Fall, the temps are cooling off at night quite a bit. The grass situation will continue to be an issue for the next month or so, there are still passages through most bridges to get up to Zug Bug, but don't overlook fishing below the Island Rd bridge. Hatches are sparse on most days, you will have a two hour window to get after rising fish mostly on Baetis and the teeny Caenis, you will be able to pick up some fish on dries. If you are looking for solid action outside of the hatches, swing scud patterns and leeches in the deeper holes.
Hot Flies: TB Drowned Rusty Spinner, PMD's, Norman's Wiggletails, Pheasant Tails, Mercer's Missing Link, Zug Bugs, and Leeches.
