Lees Ferry Report

For Lees Ferry, see the Sept. 11 river report from Lees Ferry Anglers. Another angler, Alister O. reports recently spending a few hours in the morning tight lining small nymphs near the Paria Riffle. He had two or three good-sized trout hooked, but they all swam into the strong currents and unhooked before he could net them. When later canoeing down from Horseshoe Bend, he and his girlfriend didn't have time to fish, but they could see a fair number of fish along the way, all hugging the bottom.
