Fish Report for 10-1-2022

The lake level is down, but there are no issues launching a boat

10-1-2022
Arizona Game & Fish Department

Road access to the lake is open. The lake level is down, but there are no issues launching a boat. Only boats with a 10-horsepower motor or less are allowed on Kinnikinick Lake. Wildlife Managers recently reported that the lake is particularly turbid (dirty) due to recent runoff from monsoon storms. Fishing slowly with lures with a lot of vibration and flash or with bait will be the best approach. This is the time of year when channel catfish should be good on the northern side of the lake and off the dam.
