Some news from up on Lake Mohave our local angler Daniel Wadsworth was trolling and landed a nice Smallmouth Bass. This fish weighed in at 4.16 pounds and was 20 Inches in length. this is really good news for the up-and-coming bass tournament that will be going on at Lake Mohave. The small mouth bass and the large mouth have been in this range for size and weight. This will make a great fishing derby. I am getting reports of a few stripers being landed in the coves around the power lines with anchovies working the best as far as producing a few in the 1-to-3-pound range.

Along our shores of the Colorado River here below the Davis Dam the striper action has been in the 1-to-4-pound range with an occasional larger fish being landed. It's been mostly anchovies for the small fish with swim baits bringing in the larger fish but not to say these fish will go after anchovies also. I did get a great report about the marsh and the fishing for larger mouth bass has been picking up with a striper mixed in no and again. the catfish bite has been a little slow. For you trout anglers we are getting our rainbow trout from the Willow beach hatchery the dates and times are a bit of a mystery the stocking sites are Davis camp Community Park and Rotary Park.

We hope to see a few anglers into share their catch and the story that goes along with the catch. Mostly thanks so much for all of your support
