Hi Gang,

We arrived on scene just before dark last night and started seeing bluefin almost right away. We did the night time bluefin fishing all night and had a few good stops on fish that were mostly 60 to 120 pounds with one fish that taped out at 170#. The daytime worked out good for us as we located a school of yellowfin tuna and landed 8 fish that were 20 to 35 pounds. Mid morning we found a kelp located by Captain Travis Weber and what ensued was straight out of a book. Every bait that hit the water was a dorado for over an hour. To say it was wide open would be an understatement and we ended up with US limits of dorado for the day at 210. incredible. Everyone is taking naps right now as we will be fishing bluefin again tonight. Thanks for checking in. Life is good, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4088 to get in on the action.
