Howdy yall, it's Trejan on the Sunrise again. Today, we had a 5 hour fishing and crabbing trip with 16 passengers. After we left the harbor at 6:30, we headed west for 5 minutes to set our pots. After setting our pots, we headed north for about 20 minutes until we got to our first fishing spot. On our first drift, we caught 3 fish. We then caught 2 on the second, and 3 again on the third. We continued to catch between 1-4 rockfish for most of the trip. It wasn't until near the end of the trip did we get 8+ fish a drift. During this time we caught multiple Lingcod, all of them were convincingly over 22 inches. We may not have limited out on rockfish but we only needed 2 left out of our 80. We also had a mini whale watching trip because we saw multiple whales while we were fishing. After our time for fishing was up, we went crabbing. We ended up with 63 crab, so crabbing was pretty good. After crabbing, we finished up our trip by heading back into the harbor. During the trip, the wheather was good and the ocean was mostly flat. Overall, it was a good day for both fishing and crabbing
