Howdy yall, it's Trejan on the Sunrise again. Today, we had a 5 hour fishing and crabbing trip with 11 passengers. We left the harbor a little later than usual today, at 6:45. After leaving the harbor, we headed slightly south to drop our pots.After that, we traveled south for 10 minutes, until we reached our first fishing spot. On our first drift, we caught 1 fish. We then caught 4 on the second, and 3 on the third. We continued to catch between 0-3 rockfish for the next hour and a half. At around the 9th drift, things started to pick up, and we started catching 10-13 fish a drift. Like yesterday, fishing started out a little slow, but it started to pick up a little later. We limited out 3 hours into the trip and Lingcod fished for about an hour. During this time, we caught some Ling, and some massive Cabezon. After that, we had to go crabbing. After crabbing, we finished up our trip by heading back into the harbor. During the trip, the wheather was nice but it was a little choppy. Overall, it was a great day for fishing.
