Daylight fishing for, and catching, bluefin tuna. It's been so long we hardly remember. But we didn't forget how. Big huge spots up frothing and foaming were the backdrop to many a stop. And some of them stuck around and ravaged well presented fly line baits. Most in the 40-50 pound range were ideally manageable on 40 and 50# fluorocarbon. Some that were considerably larger were not. A handful plus in thr 80-120# class were subdued confirming that every stop had the possibility of producing "The One".
