One heck of a full body workout today as the lower half and core stabilized while the upper half did the hauling. Good fishing for nice grade yellows was spread throughout the day adding up to a perfect total by mid afternoon. Taking the good fortune with gratitude we began the northwest trek leaving the bumpy conditions behind. A little beach variety and topping off bait is on the docket tomorrow as we gain altitude. Setting up the pursuit of bluefin and yellowfin on the back end of the voyage is the goal. Conditions are forecast to improve and the fish are around. The question of course is will they bite? Time will tell.
