6-17-2022
Fly and Field Outfitters
Crane Prairie is still hit and miss but seems to be coming around a bit as we have heard more positive reports coming out of there the last few days. Balanced leeches under an indicator have produced fish as well as stripping or wind drifting leech patterns. Chironomids under an indicator or a balanced leech/chironomid combo is a good idea. Not much reported in terms of dry fly activity yet. Slow stripping damsels and water boatmen can also produce some fish. Crane should only continue to improve as the year moves along so get out there and get after some fish!
