Salmon Flies are coming to a close
6-17-2022
Fly and Field Outfitters
Fishing on the Lower Deschutes has been good. Salmon Flies are coming to a close but caddis are important now as are PMD’s. Nymphing has been good with a variety of caddis and mayfly imitations. One of our shop guys was down there last week and reported awesome action swinging streamers in the morning before the sun was on the water. Expect to see a variety of caddis on the water but I would definitely have some small black patterns and some medium olive/tan patterns.
