Pyramid lake held near 93 percent of capacity with water temps in the low sixties. Bass are spawning but the bite still isn’t wide open yet. Anglers fooled fish with Texas rigs, Senkos, and drop shot in 2 to 25 feet of water. Many of the bass have been holding tight to bluff walls, but bass are also biting deeper on points. Striper went for cut sardines and nightcrawlers near Yellowbar and the Marina. Trolled flies and jerkbaits also got some attention. Catfish anglers did very well soaking smelly baits in deeper coves around the lake.
