Happy October
We are now at CASTAIC LAKE in Santa Clarita Valley. As some of you may already know November and December are prime months for fishing at Castaic. If you have not experienced Castaic you should come on out and enjoy it and its a great time to get the kids involved in catching. The Legend Bass Boat now located at Castaic for the next 6-8 weeks. The live bait shad are plentiful so come on out and be ready to reel them in. Weekdays are best as there is not as many boats on the Lake.

1st day back at Castaic lake! They had some rain. The fish were boiling all day Tues. October 13th. Nick from Colorado caught over 10 fish using all artificial. Nick preferred to use artificial bait and they caught both Largemouth Bass and Strippers.

- Jim and Karen went out Thurs. Oct. 1st. Fishing was slow in the morning but by noon the fish were biting. They caught a total of 9 bass for the day including Jim's 6 pounder and Karen's big 8 pounder bass!

- We do have the pontoon boat and bass boats available at Lake Casitas. As you can see Casitas was producing some quality bass. There has been only about 10 boats on the water for the day. Its like having your own private Bass Lake. Weather has been cool in the mornings and warming up to the high 70's- 80's in the afternoons.

- Matt caught this big one!! 12 pounder at Lake Casitas in the afternoon on Monday Sept. 28th.

- Mackenzie on Sunday Afternoon Sept. 27th. This was her 1st time fishing! She liked to reel them in but would rather not touch the Bass!
