Horizon Charters Cortes Bank

10-8-2009

What a difference a few days make! The weather and diving on the Bank were fantastic for the bug hunters and sightseers too with 80 foot visibility, 65 degree water and lots going on! The lobster hunters, of which we have only 10 aboard for this trip captured 70 today up to 4 pounds. The sightseers enjoyed the amazing Cortes Bank kelp forest, torpedo rays, harbor seals and ton's o' bat rays.

We're going to be underway in a bit for Santa Barbara Island. Should be good diving there as the weather report sounds fantastic for tomorrow with light winds and small seas.

Until Tomorrow,

Captain Spencer
