Lower Otay Fishing Report

Lower Otay Reservoir Staff
The water is warming up and the bass are moving up into the shallows to make beds for the spawn. They aren’t on the beds yet but it is only a matter of time with the water temperature at about 60 degrees. Once the water temperature is 62 degrees is when the females start to lay their eggs. Solid crappie reports have been coming out of Otay Arm, Harvey’s Arm and North Point. Stop by concessions for a dozen crickets, the panfish love them.
