Matt from San Diego caught this bass on 2/16. He was using dropshot, ned rig and weightless in Harvey's Arm.

The bass fishing was good this week. There were a lot of boats on the water this weekend, including a few bass fishing tournaments. Bass were biting in 6-10 feet of water and the most popular baits being used were plastics, crank baits and swim baits. Several reports of bass busting up out of the water. Anglers reported big catfish being caught and panfish being plentiful in Otay Arm.
