Striper anglers reported another solid week of fishing in the aqueduct, and they used both bait and lures to get it done. Bait anglers fooled fish with cut sardines, anchovies, and jumbo live shiners. The lure crowd reported bites while throwing Flukes, jerkbaits, and A-rigs in the mornings. Catfish anglers used dip bait, chicken liver, and cut baits for consistent fishing. Largemouth chased baitfish in the mornings, and topwater was the best way to land them. Anglers also used drop shot, Senkos, and Texas rigged plastic worms near gates, grates, and bridge pylons. The best bass fishing has been on days of lower flows.
