The Fly Shop
Interstate 5 has opened again and now the forecast is looking better for this weekend. It will be cold up there though, so plan your trip carefully if you decide to go and check the temp & precip prior to heading up. Rubberlegs and smaller nymphs are getting the job done. There are still plenty of fish and some larger ones showing up. If you are swinging flies, think slow and deep. Try fishing intruders with sink tips, orange and purple are good colors besides the standard black and blue. Hartwick's Hosers are great patterns, and Bret's Klamath Intruders are tailor made for this river. Don't forget your chains!
Hot Flies:
Eggs:
• Clown Egg
• M.C. Redd Reaper - Champagne
• Micro Spawn - Shrimp Pink or Salmon Egg

• 3-D Nymphs - #8-10
• Red Copper Johns - #14-18
