Plenty of Yellowtail

9-8-2009
Bill Roecker

"Weather continues to be wonderful, with clear skies, sunny, and warm," reported Royal Polaris September 7. "We have just enough breeze to keep it comfortable for our passengers.

"We had a fantastic day of fishing. It was limit style fishing on Yellowtail in the 12 to 15 pounds, with many in the 20-pound class. We also had a nice day of Yellowfin, Dorado, and a few Wahoo. We ended up with limits of Yellowtail, 130 Yellowfin tuna, 40 Dorado, and 15 Wahoo. If you missed the report from yesterday, we were having computer problems, but they are now fixed. We are now moving up the line, and if we make good time we will try our luck as San Martin Island."
