The Twin Lakes provide the easiest access and the most consistent lake fishing now that the road to East Lake is closed. This week we’re looking at cooler temperatures to start with just a bit of precipitation, it may be a bit warmer than average by the end of the week. Continue to be prepared for a big snowfall, you don’t want to get stuck somewhere without the essentials. The majority of the action out at the Twin Lakes has been with streamers and leeches. Natural, white, and black streamers have been the colors, typically the dark day, dark fly, and bright day,  bright fly saying has held true. Balanced leeches are also slaughtering. Tie on a small dark assassin or a midge pattern with your leech and you’ll be fighting some fish in no time.
