Monday Recap - Bluefin Returns & Half Day Action

  • Update 6:00PM The Tribute just called in from their 1.5 day trip with 8 Bluefin from 20 to 50 pounds and a big one on the line right now! Captain Buzz mentioned that flyline and the sinker rig were the best methods for all of their fish so far. The Tribute still has plenty of availability for their light load 1.5 Day leaving tomorrow night!

  • The Aztec returned this morning from their 3 Day trip with 53 Bluefin and 23 Yellowtail for their 22 anglers. The Aztec still has space for their 3 Day trip departing the Friday after Thanksgiving so grab a spot while you still can and get after some big Bluefin!

  • The Cortez also returned this morning from a 3.5 Day trip with 12 Bluefin and Yellowtail for their 11 anglers. Their Bluefin weighed between 170 to 271 pounds! There are still plenty of big ones out there to be found!

  • The New Seaforth once again got on a good spot of Yellowtail this afternoon and they we're able to get 4 aboard the boat! Captain Julio mentioned there were good signs of more in the area they were fishing. They also had some decent bass fishing this morning with 15 legal bass and 30 released for their 11 anglers. We still have light loads with plenty of availability throughout the week!

The Tribute returned this morning from a 1.5 Day trip with 68 Yellowtail and 2 Bluefin Tuna for their 30 anglers. Their Bluefin weighed in at 145 and 195 pounds! Captain Mike strongly suggests that you have the appropriate gear for targeting these larger fish, it will greatly increase your chances of landing a fish this size.
