We departed on our Doug Delaney / Sonoma Valley Wines trip with a great load of bait and great company. We decided to start our trip out on the Bluefin grounds so our first day was rigging up and getting ready for battle. We arrived on scene and got on a school first thing in the morning and had great action on 30# grade Bluefin. After our morning shot we had a lull for a while and we scratched one at a time. Right before dark we got on a school that bit for us a little bit and it was good action in to the dark. When the dust had settled we ended up putting together a very respectable day. We are rolling south now in beautiful weather and we are excited for our future fishing days to come. We will check in later.
