We departed on our open party 3 day trip with a good load of bait and we made our way out to the fishing grounds. We started our first night trying to catch a few Bluefin on the jigs but unfortunately they did not want to cooperate. We decided to anchor up and try for Yellows the following morning and we had good action on 18 to 22# Yellowtail all morning. We were able to keep one to two fish going all the time and it was a good show for the guys fishing surface irons as well. Around lunch time we decided to pull the anchor and go looking for Bluefin. We located a few schools right away and had a few bites but unfortunately we did not get any to stick. In the evening time it was a much better show with a huge area of big ones jumping around and it resulted in Jess Feddersen landing a cow. We will check in later.
