The Water Is Already Starting To Approach Summer Flows
6-23-2021
OR Department of Fish & Wildlife Staff
The water is already starting to approach summer flows due to the drought this year. As always casting small lures or flogging the water with flies can yield great results. There have been some large trees that have fallen into the river from the fire last year -- these might be holding some big redband trout right now.
Fishing will be best during early morning and late evening when temps are lower. Please use good catch-and-release techniques so we can enjoy these fish into the future.
Check the Oregon Water Resources Near Real Time Streamflow website for current flow information.
