Bass Fishing Was Good This Week

6-7-2021
Lower Otay Reservoir Staff

Bass fishing was good this week, depending who you talked to and what time of day. Top water in the morning and evening and 1-5 feet mid-day. Tight up against the tules. The most popular baits being reaction baits and weedless senkos.

The bluegill bite is at it’s best, they love redworms! These guys can be found in the coves in 2-3 feet of water.

Crappie reports still coming in on the east side of the lake near the dam.

We also had a few monster catfish catches over the weekend.

With Otay concession being the only table shop in the South Bay we are receiving new items every week to supply both the season angler and the newer ones! Com win and check us out! Out prices are great too.
