Bass Bite Was Good This Week
6-1-2021
Lower Otay Reservoir Staff
The bass bite was good this week. Jerk bait, flukes and nightcrawlers being the most effective. Not as lethargic as last week. Schools of shad are growing and the frenzy bite will start soon.
The bluegill bite is amazing right now. Here at Otay redwroms is the meal of choice for these panfish.
The catfish bite is picking up with warming waters.
Stop by concessions next time you’re here, our selection of tackle is growing every week. We are the only bait ship in the south bay and your one stop shop for everything you need. If we don’t have it let us know and we can order it. Your fish reports are always welcomes and appreciated too!
