Another fantastic day was spent on Detriot Lake today. I want to thank Jeff for letting me show him the techniques and the lake for kokanee. I am still trying to learn how NOT to lose fish as they get close to the boat. Today we lost 8 in a row. But did manage to put 8 nice koks and one large trout into the ice box. Still all in all a great day. Water level is still rising slowly, main ramp plenty of water. The winter ramp is now closed off to any access. Kokaneeid lures and arrow fast dodgers were working perfectly. Plenty of dates still available for June if you would like to experience a kokanee trip on Detroit lake. give me a call or text.
