Average Water Temperature: 60.7°F
Water Clarity: 2 Feet
 
The bass have been biting on soft plastics lately. Drop-shot robo worms seem to be producing the most fish. Popular colors include purple and green shiner. Popular spots include the east shore of Lake 1 and the southwest corner of Lake 4. Campers are still reporting a mix of rainbow trout and lightning trout being caught out of Lake 6. Popular spots include the southwest corner and the west shore of the Lake about halfway from the top. Popular baits include powerbait and nightcrawlers. Remember, Lake 6 is for registered campers only so be sure to book your site now! Our next stock of trout is scheduled for February 9. This camper caught this rainbow trout out of Lake 6 on chartreuse powerbait!
 
Join us February 9 for our next scheduled trout stock. Lakes 3 and 4 will split 2,000 pounds of rainbow trout. No California State License needed, just a Santee Lakes daily fish permit.
