Trout Season Re-Opener Jan. 16

The trout bite has slowed down a bit but anglers are still reporting fish being caught on powerbait and nightcrawlers. Popular colors this week include sherbet and spring green. Popular spots include the south shore of Lake 2 and the southwest corner of Lake 3. The bass have been biting on rattletraps and trout imitation swimbaits. Popular spots include the southwest corner of Lake 4 and the east shore of Lake 2. This wonderful family pictured above caught this rainbow trout out of Lake 3 on nightcrawlers!
