We have fish! The rainbow trout are bringing out anglers from all skill levels. Spinners and bait are producing limits of rainbows that are being stocked here along the Colorado River below the Davis Dam. These fish are raised and brought to us from the crew at the Willow Beach Hatchery.

Our local anglers dad, Salvador Marques, with his daughters Rochelle, Savannah and smallest Ashley stopped in to share their catch of trout. They were fishing with Berkley teasers from shore a bit down river in the Rotary park area. A few days after our trout plant you will need to move around a bit to find that special hole where the trout will hang out and wait for food to get to them. I have been hearing that Community Park has been producing a few limits (5 per angler) of trout. Also spinners have been working along with power bait and night crawlers to land a few rainbows.

We have some striper news from Lake Mohave, as I have been getting word that there has been a few striper boils near telephone cove on the Arizona side. The size seems to be about the same as we are having here along the Colorado river. Our visiting angler from Michigan, Rick Jennings was out fishing with Ben Aleman and landed these 2 he brought into show. Ben keeps his boat here in the marina and I coaxed him to showing me the fish. Now that our weather is warming back up for a little while the bite should be great. I did hear of some catfish being landed in the marsh area at catfish paradise.
