Rusty

We are having a great season on stripers here along our shores of the Colorado River. Our visiting anglers from the Phoenix area were able to land a few while fishing from their friend Pat Fordham's boat. They were using anchovies in the Lower Big Bend area. I have been hearing that a few of the larger stripers were being landed but no show as of yet.

We do hope to see some of them in soon as this time of year we do get some big fish here below the Davis Dam. We are still getting rainbow trout about once a week. We are so looking forward to sharing your catch remember the limit is 5 for trout below the Davis Dam. For your bait anglers, the power bait and night crawlers have been working well. While various spinners are proving to provide some nice action for landing a few of these rainbow trout that are provided by the Willow Beach Hatchery.

Last I heard was Rotary Park was getting stocked and the hatchery was doing a stocking at community park one week and then back to Davis Camp. The days have been changing due to crowds and staff at the hatchery.

Not much word from up on Lake Mohave with a little action near the power lines with anglers having some luck in the mouths of the coves near there. Hope this helps for now and we look forward to having you come in and share that catch and the story. Thanks so much for all of your support
