September 27, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip. 

09/27/2020
The Dolphin Pm trip caught 190 Bonito for 40 Anglers.

The Dolphin Am trip caught 13 Bonito, 3 Rockfish, 1 Sculpin for 39 Anglers.

The Liberty called in with 64 Yellowfin Tuna, 22 Skipjackk, 8 Yellowtail, 2 Dorado for their Full Day trip with 38 Anglers.

The Condor called in with LIMITS of Dorado and LIMITS of Yellowfin Tuna for their 1.5 Day trip with 34 Anglers.

The Pegasus called in with 55 Yellowfin Tuna for thier Full Day Trip with 20 Anglers.

The Pacific Queen finished up their 2 day trip with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (96), 54 Dorado, 36 Yellowtail, and 8 Yellowfin Tuna for 24 anglers.

The Fortune called in with Limits of Dorado (36) and Limits of Yellowfin Tuna (90) for their 1.5 day trip with 18 anglers.

The Pacific Dawn called in with 47 Bluefin (3 150-170lbs) and 3 Yellowfin Tuna for 17 anglers on a 2 day trip.

The Tomahawk called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna  (48@30-150#), 1 Yellowfin Tuna and 3 Dorado for day 2 of their 2.5 day trip with 12 Anglers. They are on the hunt for Dorado.

The Islander returned this AM from their 2.5 Day Trip with 85 Bluefin Tuna for 28 anglers. 

The Outrider returned this AM with 3 Bluefin Tuna, 3 Yellowtail, 1 Dorado, 4 Bonito, and 1 Mako Shark for 11 anglers on their 1.5 Day Trip.

The Pacific Dawn called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (35lb-45lb) and 4 Yellowfin Tuna (50lb-70lb) on Day 1 of a 2 Day trip for 17 anglers.

The Dolphin AM 1/2 Day Trip caught 25 Bonito, 2 Sand Bass, 12 Rock Fish, and 1 White Fish for 36 anglers. 

The Dolphin PM 1/2 Day caught 5 Bonito, 1 Sand Bass, 2 Calico Bass, 75 Released Calico Bass, 8 Sheep Head, and 10 Rock Fish for 38 anglers. 

The Liberty called in with 57 Yellowfin Tuna, 20 Skip Jack, and 2 Dorado for their Full Day Trip with 40 anglers. 

The Western Star caught LIMITS of Dorado and 3 Yellowtail on their Overnight Trip for 3 anglers. 

The Intrigue called in with 16 Yellowtail for 4 anglers on their Full Day Trip. 

The Condor caught 23 Dorado, 5 Yellowtail, 2 Yellowfin Tuna, and 3 Skip Jack on their Overnight trip for 18 anglers. 

The Fortune caught 15 Dorado, 11 Skip Jack, and 1 Yellowfin Tuna on their Overnight trip for 12 anglers. 

The Pacific Queen called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna up to 80lbs and 2 Yellowfin up to 60lbs for the begining of their 2 Day trip for 24 anglers.

The Pegasus called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (44) on their 2 Day trip for 11 anglers. 

Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.

  • Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks.  They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.

As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently.
