September 22, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip. 

09/26/2020
The Pacific Dawn called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (35lb-45lb) and 4 Yellowfin Tuna (50lb-70lb) on Day 1 of a 2 Day trip for 17 anglers.

The Outrider called in with 3 Bluefin Tuna, 3 Yellowtail, 1 Dorado, 4 Bonito, and 1 Mako Shark for 11 anglers on their 1.5 Day Trip. 

The Islander called in from their 2.5 Day Trip with 85 Bluefin Tuna for 28 anglers. 

The Dolphin AM 1/2 Day Trip caught 25 Bonito, 2 Sand Bass, 12 Rock Fish, and 1 White Fish for 36 anglers. 

The Dolphin PM 1/2 Day caught 5 Bonito, 1 Sand Bass, 2 Calico Bass, 75 Released Calico Bass, 8 Sheep Head, and 10 Rock Fish for 38 anglers. 

The Liberty called in with 57 Yellowfin Tuna, 20 Skip Jack, and 2 Dorado for their Full Day Trip with 40 anglers. 

The Western Star caught LIMITS of Dorado and 3 Yellowtail on their Overnight Trip for 3 anglers. 

The Intrigue called in with 16 Yellowtail for 4 anglers on their Full Day Trip. 

The Condor caught 23 Dorado, 5 Yellowtail, 2 Yellowfin Tuna, and 3 Skip Jack on their Overnight trip for 18 anglers. 

The Fortune caught 15 Dorado, 11 Skip Jack, and 1 Yellowfin Tuna on their Overnight trip for 12 anglers. 

The Tomahawk called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna 24@30-150# and 1 Yellowfin Tuna for day 1 of their 2.5 day trip with 12 Anglers

The Pacific Queen called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna up to 80lbs and 2 Yellowfin up to 60lbs for the begining of their 2 Day trip for 24 anglers.

The Pegasus called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (44) on their 2 Day trip for 11 anglers.

The Fortune called in with LIMITS of Dorado (32) and 9 Skipjack for thier Overnight trip with 16 Anglers.

The Dolphin called in with 10 Yellowtail, 7 Dorado and 2 Skipjack for their Full Day trip with 35 Anglers.

The Liberty called in with 2 Yellowfin Tuna, 11 Yellowtail, 1 Skipjack and 1 Bonito for 38 anglers on a full day trip. 

The Pacific Dawn called in with 16 Yellowtail, 11 Dorado for thier Overnight trip with 17 Anglers.

The Outrider called in with 21 Yellowfin Tuna, 6 Dorado and 7 Skipjack on their Overnight trip.

The Pacific Queen  returned with 69 Bluefin Tuna, 1 Yellowfin Tuna, and 4 Yellowtail for 35 anglers on their 1.5 Day Trip. 

The Tomahawk  returned with LIMITS of Dorado, 30 Skipjack, and 1 Dorado for 18 anglers on their 1.5 day trip.

The Condor  returned with 131 Yellowfin Tuna and LIMITS of Dorado (66) for their 1.5 day trip for 33 anglers.

Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.

  • Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks.  They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.

As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently.
