Royal Polaris Crew

"Our weather is just gorgeous, with flat seas, clear skies and warm. We had excellent fishing in the morning, but by the afternoon, things had cooled off. The fish are still around; they just have lockjaw. Most of the yellowfin were in the 150 to 180 range. We got no 200-pound Yellowfin today. We are on the move, and we will report more tomorrow, but until then good luck and good fishing."

RP Report March 27, 2009

"We had excellent weather today, with flat seas, clear skies, a very warm. Today was a sunblock day. The weather was not the only thing that was heated today. We had excellent Yellowfin tuna fishing, with fish in the 140 to over 200 pound category, with most in the 175 to 190-pound range. We saw excellent signs of Yellowfin tuna today, and we will spend our final day here hoping to get a few more 200-pound Yellowfin tuna. Today was the first day we didn't catch a Wahoo, so no Wahoo jackpot today.

"Our lucky angler today was Nick Truscott, with a 227-pound Yellowfin tuna, and he had another one at 205 pounds. Nick is the winner of the daily Jerry Brown jackpot."
