Line One Trip Decking Cows

Bill Roecker
"Weather continues to be 15 to 18 knots," said the Royal Polaris report for March 23, "with overcast skies, but fishing continues to be excellent. We had 37 Yellowfin and 12 Wahoo. We add another four fish over 200 pounds. Winner of the JB Line One daily jackpot was David Fay, with a 224-pound Yellowfin tuna, but it was not largest fish of the day.
"The lucky angler today was Seiji Iwamura. Seiji's fish weighed 235 pounds. The other lucky anglers for fish over 200 pounds were Bob Wolfson, who got a 203-pound Yellowfin tuna, and Gene Coombs with a possible 207-pound Yellowfin tuna. We tried to weigh the fish, but we were drifting and the boat was a bit rocky."
