Hello everyone, I know you are getting tired of hearing about the weather, but it just doesn't get any better out here. But the weather is not the only thing that's hot today. We had an excellent day of fishing. This was the first day that we had an early morning bite. We had Yellowfin jumping all around the boat. Not only was the kite hot and heavy, we had a few fish going on sardines. After the smoke cleared, we had put a dozen or so fish on the boat, all in the 140 to 170 pound category. We had good action most of the day, with very little down time. During our down time, we did some Wahoo trolling, but most of the Wahoo came on the anchor. I would say 75% of our fish caught today, were in the 130 to 180 pound category. We had good action on sardines in the afternoon, but the kite is still the number one ticket to the larger Yellowfin. We released 15 or so fish back to the sea, so that they could do battle another day. Everyone caught a fish over 100 pounds today. We did lose some giants to hooks pulling or fluorocarbon breaking. Everyone is just having a ball out here, and we all look forward to tomorrow. So with 5 full days left to fish, things are looking good out here at the bank. So with good weather and good fishing, who knows what tomorrow might bring. But we will let you know, until then good luck and good fishing.

The R/p crew.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.
