August 28, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip.

8/28/2020
The Western Star called in with 4 Dorado and 3 Yellowtail on thier full day offshore charter for 5 anglers. 

The Islander called in with 36 Dorado and 2 Yellowfin Tuna for their overnight trip with 31 Anglers.

The Dolphin called in with 48 Yellowtail (15-20 #), 16 Calico Bass, 14 Bonito and 102 Rockfish on their full day CI trip for 31 anglers. They reported good weather and an excellent sign of fish. 

The Pacific Queen returned from their 3 day trip with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (144) and 4 Yellowtail for 24 anglers. 15 of the Bluefin they caught were between 120 and 220 pounds. 

The Condor returned from a 1.5 day trip with LIMITS of Dorado (68), 25 Yellowtail, and 14 Yellowfin Tuna for 34 anglers.

The Tomahawk returned from their 1.5 day trip with 41 Bluefin Tuna (5@ 120-180 lbs.) for 25 anglers. 

The Pegasus returned from their 1.5 day trip with 22 Bluefin Tuna (1@260 lbs.) for 19 anglers.

The Pegasus called in with 20 Bluefin Tuna for their 1.5 trip with 19 Anglers and they are still fishing.

The Dolphin caught 45 Yellowtail, 10 Calico Bass, 11 Bonito, 6 Rockfish, and 4 Sculpin for 11 anglers.

The Liberty called in with 32 Yellowtail, 52 Bonito, 54 Calico Bass for their full day trip with 40 Anglers.

The Tomahawk called in with 41 Bluefin Tuna (5 @ 120-180#) on their 1.5 day trip.

The Condor called in with LIMITS of Dorado (68) on their 1.5 day trip for 34 anglers. 

The Dolphin called in from their full day trip at the Islands with 30+ Yellowtail, 10 Bonito, and 5 Calico Bass for 11 anglers. 

The Pacific Dawn called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (3@ 130/140/230#) and 3 Yellowtail for their 2 Day Chartered trip.

The Pacific Queen called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (14@120-220#) for Day 2 of their 3 Day trip for 24 anglers.

The Islander returned with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (7@150#), 7 Yellowtail and 1 Yellowfin Tuna for 22 anglers on their 2.5 Day Trip. 

Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.

  • Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks.  They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.

As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently.
