August 21, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip.

The Polaris Supreme called in from Day 2 of 3 with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna for 24 anglers. 

The Bight sportfishing caught LIMITS of Dorado for 4 anglers on their 3/4 day trip. 

The Dolphin PM caught 5 Sheephead, 10 Bonito, 10 Rockfish, 1 Whitefish, and 25 Calico Bass on their half day trip for 41 anglers. 

The Dolphin Am caught 2 Calico Bass, 27 Rockfish, and 1 Shephead on their half day trip for 41 anglers. 

The Tomahawk called in with 5 Yellowtail for their Overnight trip with 24 Anglers.

The Royal Polaris called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna for both days for their 2.5 Day trip with 24 Anglers. They are on the hunt for yellowtail. 

The Pegasus called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna on day 1 of their 2.5 Day trip.

The Outrider called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna for 9 anglers on Day 1 of their 2.5 Day trip. They reported excellent fishing and beautiful weather.

The Fortune called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna and 12 Yellowtail for Day 2 of their 2 Day trip. With 16 anglers.

The Liberty called in with LIMITS of Dorado and 12 Yellowtail for their overnight charter with 31 anglers. 

The Pacific Queen called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna and 34 (15-25#) Yellowtail on their Overnight trip. With 32 anglers.

The Condor returned with LIMITS of Dorado, 160 Yellowtail and 1 Yellowfin Tuna for their 1.5 day trip for 34 anglers. They also report beautiful weather.

Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.

  • Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks.  They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.

As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently.
