August 12, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip.

08/20/2020
The Dolphin AM trip caught 32 Rockfish, 25 Calico Bass, 3 Sheephead, 2 Sandbass, and 2 Whitefish for 30 anglers. 

The Dolphin PM trip caught 50 Calico Bass, 100 Released Calico Bass, and 2 Sandbass for 26 anglers. 

The Liberty called in from their full day with 28 Bonito, 6 Yellowtail, 2 Rockfish, 1 Calico Bass, and 1 Barracuda for 35 anglers. 

The Western Star caught 1 Bluefin Tuna and 10 Calico Bass for 6 anglers on their full day trip.

The Tomahawk called in with 3 Dorado and 1 Yellowtail on their overnight charter for 26 anglers. 

The Royal Polaris called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (25-40#) on their 1st day of a 2.5 day trip for 24 anglers. 

The Condor called in with LIMITS of Dorado, 160 Yellowtail and 1 Yellowfin Tuna for their 1.5 day trip. They also report beautiful weather.

The Fortune called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna for Day 1 of their 2 Day trip. 

The Pegasus returned with LIMITS of Bluefin and 6 Yellowtail on their 1.5 day trip.

The Pacific Dawn returned with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna and 18 Yellowtail for their 2.5 Day trip. 

The Pacific Queen returned with 70 Bluefin Tuna (limits) and 50 Yellowtail for 35 anglers on their 1.5 day trip.

The Islander returned with 49 Bluefin Tuna, LIMITS of Dorado and LIMITS of Yellowtail on their 3.5 day trip for 20 anglers. 

The Outrider returned with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (up to 40#) and 2 Yellowtail on their 1.5 day trip.

The Dolphin caught 4 Bluefin Tuna, 2 Yellowtail, 3 Bonito, 20 Calico Bass, 44 Rockfish, 1 Sheephead, 16 Sculpin, and 16 Barracuda for 21 anglers on their full day Coronado Islands trip.

The Liberty called in with 1 Yellowtail, 80 Calico Bass, 80 Whitefish and 25 Rockfish on their full day charter. 

The Royal Polaris returned with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (36) and 25 Yellowtail on their 1.5 Day trip for 18 anglers.

The Tomahawk  returned with LIMITS of Dorado (42) and 12 Yellowtail on their 1.5 day trip with 21 Anglers.

Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.

• Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks.  They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.

As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently.
