Dockside Charters Fishing Report

Dockside Charters Staff

The Rockfish and Ling Cod bite has slowed down somewhat. We have still been getting good numbers of fish but limits have been difficult. The Cabezon quota has been reached and is closed for the year. Crabbing numbers have dropped off a little also, but is still very much worthwhile.

Salmon (coho) has been up and down, we have had days with very good action and little retention (they must be fin-clipped fish) and then some days with very little action. The selective salmon season closes Sunday the 16th. The non-selective salmon season opens September 4th and 5th (Friday-Saturday) then each Friday-Saturday until the quota is taken or the 30th of September.

All-depth Halibut fishing is coming up again the 20th, 21st and 22nd.

As for Tuna They has moved a little closer but not in great numbers yet and they remain out of reasonable range
