Sacramento River salmon fishing report August 6,2020
The Sacramento River Fall salmon run continues to build nicely as more and more fresh king salmon move up into the spawnning grounds below Anderson Balls Ferry California. Recently, Dave Jacobs Professional Guide Service sent several families home happy with fresh king salmon! There are still some extra large king salmon moving into the Sacramento River with the peak run time fast approaching. You can count on king salmon being in the river in late August and all of September.
This full moon is sparking a solid increase in king salmon in the upper Sacramento River for our clients to catch. Back bouncing sardine wrapped "old style" kwikfish plugs are the top producers for all of our salmon fishermen and women this week. These old kwikfish plugs have timeless finishes and one of a kind action that Sacramento River king salmon cannot resist! Our best plugs are fine tuned and ready for you to fish along with top quality fresh cured roe.
