July 31, 2020, COVID Update: We have received many calls from concerned customers regarding their fishing trips. We are OPEN and will be running all trips as scheduled. Our fleet is doing everything they can to ensure that we observe all safety protocols to provide the safest environment possible for your fishing trip.

07/31/2020
The Liberty called in with 7 Bluefin Tuna, 4 Yellowfin Tuna, and 1 Yellowtail for 35 anglers on their full day offshore trip.

The Outrider called in with 3 Bluefin Tuna, 23 Yellowtail, and 2 Yellowfin Tuna for 12 anglers on an overnight trip. 

The Pacific Dawn caught 15 Yellowfin Tuna, 5 Bluefin Tuna, and 1 Yellowtail for 20 anglers on their full day offshore trip.

The Dolphin AM caught 125 Rockfish and 44 Reds for 36 anglers.

The Dolphin PM caught 84 Rockfish, 18 Reds, and 10 Whitefish for 40 anglers.

The Pegasus called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (32) (30-75#) for Day 1 on their 3 Day Private Charter for 16 anglers.

The Condor returned with 39 Bluefin Tuna and 7 Yellowtail for 26 anglers on their 1.5 Day trip. 

The Tomahawk returned with 27 Bluefin Tuna and 21 Yellowtail for their 1.5 Day Private Charter.
 
The Western Star returned with 15 Bluefin Tuna up to (180lb)  for 6 anglers on their 2.5 Day Trip. 

The Islander caught 54 Bluefin Tuna (up to 250 lbs) and 38 Yellowtail (15-35lbs) on their 4 day trip for 9 anglers. 

07/30/2020

The Dolphin AM trip caught 49 Rockfish for 30 anglers.

The Dolphin PM caught 110 Rockfish, 44 Reds, 1 Whitefish, and 1 Sheephead for 36 anglers.

The Pacific Queen called in with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna and 7 Yellowtail for Day 1 of their 3.5 Day trip. 

The Liberty called in with 46 Bluefin Tuna, and 1 Yellowfin Tuna for 34 anglers.

The Pacific Dawn called in with 46 Yellowtail, 3 Dorado and 4 Bluefin on their Full Day trip for 20 anglers.

The Outrider returned with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (20-50#) for 11 anglers on their 1.5 Day trip

Boats are recommending 25-pound outfits for the Yellowfin and Yellowtail. 40 to 60-pound outfits for mid-size Bluefin Tuna. 80 to 100-pound outfits for the bigger size Bluefin.

  • Hook size, they are recommending number 1 to 2/0 size circle hooks.  They are catching the Bluefin on fly-line rigs, sinkers-rigs, and flat fall jigs.

As of right now, all passengers must bring a face mask on all trips. Passengers on Overnight trips and longer need to bring their own pillow and blankets. The crews will be cleaning and sanitizing all common areas frequently.
